Tip: Google Art Project

Google Art Project has opened! What an amazing resource!

Google has combined MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Gallery in London, the Palace of Versailles, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and other great art museums from around the world into one extraordinary location.

At the Art Project you can use museum floor plans as a guide to explore room to room almost as if you were actually walking the halls. View art as you would sitting on a bench in the room or, where there is a "+" button available, you can study through a magnified view at a high resolution revealing brush strokes and texture.

It's now possible for anyone with access to a computer and the internet to easily and conveniently study, learn and enjoy great art.
