Quote: Keep Values And Color Temperatures In Mind With Each Stroke

"If there is one common weakness among the paintings done by the average workshop participant, it is that they fail to keep that standard of values and color temperatures in mind as they mix and apply each new stroke of oil color. They tend to judge the relative values within a small section of the painting rather than measuring them against the strongest dark and light values."
